“There should be a Green Fund,” says Dr Attili. “And the funding should go to developing countries to deal with the consequences of climate change: adaptation, mitigation and everything in between. We need to encourage water supplies. We need to have better governance, agricultural irrigation systems. We also need to reform all sectors. In addition to this, we must reform the water sector in order to reduce losses and keep every drop of water in our region.
