A 34-year-old man was found dead in Blue River on Friday, October 29. The Breckenridge Police Department responded to a call at 1:09 p.m. in the Warrior’s Mark neighborhood and was on the scene at 1:16 p.m., with the fire protection district red, white and blue.

Breckenridge Police Department Sgt. Garrison Green reported that details of the man’s name, hometown and cause of death are awaiting an autopsy from the Summit County coroner’s office. Green said foul play was not suspected at this time, but this will be confirmed by the autopsy.

Green did not specify when the autopsy should be completed and said it would depend on how many more cases the coroner’s office needs to deal with.

Green said there had been no missing person reports that could be linked to the case at this time.
